The center will be providing application service for “Virtual servers for public affairs” to provide better data security for public affairs. In addition to lowering the costs of setting up servers and maintaining servers, it can also implement the energy saving policies to provide a professional and good server management environment.

All new incoming students and teachers will receive a copy of the college-authorized Microsoft software disc. The disc includes software such as MS Windows 7 upgrade Traditional Chinese version, MS Office 2010 Pro Plus Traditional Chinese version. Please claim your copy of the disc from your department. All students and teachers are eligible for genuine copy of Windows CA software. However, Windows Upgrade Version is not fully licensed. Therefore, individuals or departments should purchase an operating system with their new computers( /sw/index.html).

教學軟體更新版本有Matlab軟體為R2012a版、Adobe Master Collection為 CS6版、SAS統計軟體為9.3版(舊版使用期限至8/31止)、IBM SPSS統計軟體為20.0教育網路版(舊版使用期限至8/31止)，下載新版軟體及其餘校園軟體服務，請詳資訊中心網站(/sw/index.html)。
Teaching software can now be updated, Matlab to version R2012a, Adobe Master Collection to version CS6, SAS statistical software to version 9.3 (expiry date for the old version is Aug 31st) and IBM SPSS statistical software to 20.0 educational online version (older version will expire on Aug 31st). The ITC has developed “Student Clubs and Societies System” to provide students and clubs online registration activities. After the system goes online, students will be able to acquire registration data and related information and the Office of Student Affairs will be able to print, enquire, verify and maintain the data information through the system.

We will be hosting the design competition for APP mobile applications and students are welcomed to form teams to participate. The introduction session will be scheduled on Sep 26th 2012 (Wednesday) in the main campus and Oct 3rd 2012 (Wednesday) in the Gong Guan campus.
